The 2008 PGA Tour Superstore World Amateur Handicap Championship will be held August 25-29. Players from all across the U.S. and from at least 20 other countries, migrate to the area each year to participate in this classic Myrtle Beach golf event. Open to all golfers with a certified USGA handicap, participants will compete in one of six divisions, and on a different golf course each day. At night, the groups meet up at “The 19th Hole,” located in the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, for parties that are so fun, everyone looks forward to them each season. Barefoot & Legends

The Barefoot courses, brought to life by Pete Dye, Greg Norman, Davis Love III, and Tom Fazio, use stunning waste areas and natural vegetation to frame each hole.

Choose from among the links-style Heathland, the Dye-designed Moorland, the greens of Parkland, the historic plantation setting of the Heritage Club, and Oyster Bay, with its marsh-oriented holes.
