MBN Kings NorthThe South Carolina Golf Course Ratings Panel released its list of the top-25 courses in the state for 2007. No big surprise from those of us who live along the Grand Strand, a whopping 13 from the Myrtle Beach area made the rank, which was decided by a 119-member panel. Votes were given based on design balance, aesthetics, strategy, how memorable the experience of play was, and routing. Which courses made the cut? Barefoot Resort’s Love, Dye & Fazio courses, Legends Resort’s Heathland Course, Prestwick Country Club, Caledonia Golf & Fish club, King’s North at Myrtle Beach National, Grande Dunes Resort Course, The Dunes Golf & Beach Club, Tidewater Plantation, Heritage Club, and True Blue. When making your next Myrtle Beach golf vacation plans, be sure to ask your golf specialist to include one, or several, of these great courses in your package.
