Naturally the framework around which River Hills Golf and Country Club is being developed is the picturesque River Hills golf course - a heavily wooded rolling terrain, complete with dogwoods, live oaks, maples, cypress and pines - truly a sight to behold.

When River Hills opened for play in October, 1988, it was immediately greeted with acclaim by a number of well recognized publications. While most golf courses are several years old before receiving such high praise, River hills is already listed among Golfweek's top 50 in the Southeast, and is destined to become one of the finest courses along the Grand Strand.
