This course has the traditional feel of a Carolina design, as it is cut through a pine forest and wetlands. Magnolia Greens is a 27-hole layout, playable in three eighteen hole combinations: Magnolia/Camelia, Camelia/Azalea and Magnolia Azalea.
The greens throughout the design are well protected by an assortment of sand bunkers and water hazards. The surface of the greens are not severely undulating, however, approach shots must come in high due to the fast putting surface. The fairways are generous, more so on the front nine. Mounds, hills and moderately heavy rough line the fairways.
